What can I expect in my box?

Every month, you will receive a beautiful hardcover edition of a classic book as well as 2-5 luxury gifts. We source most of our gifts from U.S.-based small businesses and artisans! Gifts may include drinks and treats, a variety of useful lifestyle gifts, bookish items that bibliophiles will adore, self-care luxury products, custom-made items, and other lovely surprises. 

How much is the box?

Each box is $64.99 plus $9.99 shipping direct to you.

When will I be billed?

Your payment method on file will automatically be billed on the 15th of each month. For example, the April box will charge on March 15th and will ship in late April.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! Your subscription box can now be shipped internationally. You'll need to purchase the Literary Book Club subscription through our Etsy store in order to choose international shipping. The Etsy store can be found via this link: https://theliterarybookclub.etsy.com.

When will my boxes arrive?

Boxes will ship towards the end of each month. You will receive a tracking number once your order is on its way. US shipping time is approximately 3-5 days. Please allow for longer processing and shipping time during holidays due to high order volume.

Are there any additional perks to membership?

Absolutely! In addition to receiving your monthly Literary Book Club Box, members also receive 10% off all items in The Literary Marketplace (does not include subscription boxes). Once you subscribe, you will need to join our private Facebook group to get your discount code and reap the full benefits of being a Literary Book Club Box member!

Can I skip a month and keep my membership?

Yes! You can skip a box right from your customer account when you login to our website, making it easier for you get the books you want and skip the ones you don't. Members may skip as many boxes as they like, and may skip in consecutive months.

What is your refund policy?

All items are non-refundable, final sale. There are no exceptions. If you receive a defective item, please let us know and we will be glad to send a replacement. If you need to report a problem or defective item, please contact us via email (help@theliterarybookclub.com) within one week of receiving your item.

What if I need to cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription right from your customer account when you login to our website. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you will need to do so before the 15th of the month so that you do not get charged for the following month's box. For example, if you would like to cancel prior to the May box, you must cancel before April 15th. If you cancel after the 15th of the month, your cancellation will take effect one month later.
